BioHello there! I'm Veronika.
About me.... hm...
I live in Norway, on the outskirts of the world.
My one great ambition in life is to one day be a writer. Not necessarily a very famous writer, just a very good one. My inspiration comes from everywhere; books, TV, life, music, etc. I write strange stories with too many characters.
I was only a little kid when I started making up stories and tell to everyone who would listen. At first they were all about talking animals. And I wrote multi-fandom crossover fics, some of them really spicy combos like Pooh/ElfQuest/Gummi Bears/Thundercats. They never made it to paper, it was all in my head.
I'd love to make friends with real authors, but I'm horrified at the thought of trying to approach them.
My to-read list is way too long for what is concidered healthy, and it mostly concists of Fantasy and detective novels.
I don't watch much TV, but I'm hooked on British police drama. My favourite is Midsomer Murders, but Dalziel & Pascoe and Inspector Lynley are not too far behind. I even like Inspector Morse, old episodes. The new Lewis series is... strange. I like the character but not the storylines.
A couple of years ago I was a great big fan of all things Harry Potter. Recently I've fallen off the wagon a little bit, but I miss the good old Potterholic days a lot.
My newest fandom is the Napoleonic era, and especially sea-captains Hornblower and Aubrey. I have tried to read the books, but I prefer the films to be honest. Sames as with Dickens.
